**About the role**

As the (HSTS) Manager, you will have a key role in providing leadership to our employees and our HSTS team. You will be a motivated leader who will foster and promote a culture of safety excellence whilst managing the legislation, compliance and policies.

This role requires a highly motivated individual and the key responsibilities of the role include:

- Create a step change in the organisations Health, Safety, Training and Quality (HSTS) performance.
- Engage our people to develop a curiosity mindset that drives safe working practices and behaviours.
- Lead the development, implementation, ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of a health, safety, environment and quality management framework, systems and processes align with applicable legislation, ISO standards, and customer specifications.
- Lead processes to ensure HSE legislative obligations are identified and assessment of control effectiveness with relevant stakeholder groups.
- Lead the development and implementation of a framework to support HSTS internal audit program in SDIS targeting risk and management system certification requirements.
- Prepare and deliver HSTS management reporting to Executive Lead Team

**About You**:

- 5+ Years practical experience in HSTS preferably in heavy equipment / mechanical industry
- A tertiary level qualification in HSE or Training or other relevant disciple (eg Science or Engineering)
- Experience in improving safety performance through engaging people is highly desirable
- Certificate IV in training and assessment, lead HSE systems auditor and ICAM lead investigator
