The People & Culture Advisory Team Lead sits within a centralised HR advisory function which provides support to team members and team leaders for all HR and ER related matters. This role is responsible for overseeing all HR policy, process and procedure matters, leading the P&C Coordinators and managing ongoing compliance obligations.

End to end case management of HR policy, process and procedure cases

Build leadership capability by guiding, mentoring and/or coaching Team Leaders on all relevant matters

Ensure Metcash meets its ongoing compliance obligations in relation to casual conversation, time and attendance and TEC review

Manage workflow in the PAC team and ensure cases are allocated and managed in a timely manner to provide a value add, customer focused service to leaders

Manage and continuously improve the PAC intranet pages and support tools to enhance self service

Version control and updates of all templates and employment documentation

Work with the WH&S team to ensure policy and procedures are in place and adhered to

What you’ll bring

Strong experience in a generalist HR capacity

Leadership skills and a passion to lead a small team

Customer centric approach with the ability to optimize processes and procedures to gain efficiencies and provide enhanced services

Strong negotiation and influencing skills
