The People & Culture (P&C) Advisor sits within Metcash’s People Advisory Centre - a centralised HR advisory function. Our team provides support to team member and team leaders on all HR and ER related matters, policies, procedures and drafting employment documentation.

What you’ll do
- Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and employees in relation to P&C policy, procedures, practices, Enterprise Agreements, Modern Award and/or systems queries
- Manage P&C content displayed on the intranet to promote and drive self service
- Triage the People Advice Centre case queue in Salesforce
- Process employee and/or position changes in the HRIS and prepare associated documentation
- Drafting letters of offer, redundancy letters/consultation packs, flexible working arrangements and exit letters
- Collaborate with the People Advice Centre, P&C Business Partnering and COE teams and other teams as required to effectively manage cases
- Assist with P&C projects

What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated experience in an operational People & Culture / HR role (around 1-2 years minimum)
- Experience working with SuccessFactors or a similar HRIS
- Tertiary qualifications in HR (or related discipline) is an advantage but not essential
- Ability to prioritise and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions
- Customer centric approach
