Let's talk about the role and responsibilities
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of HR activities for the Capgemini Invent global business line. You will report into the APAC HR Director and provide the strategic direction for the HR function with hands-on operational involvement. You will demonstrate a flair for pragmatic and realistic solutions by using your breadth of experience across a diverse range of HR activities.This is a 10-month fixed term role and will be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
**What you'll do**:
- Play a key role in articulating, embedding, and monitoring Capgemini's vision, values and behaviours and overall shaping of organisational culture.
- Partner with leaders on strategic workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, competency development and assessment.
- Review and analyse business and people metrics including data on retention, attrition and employee experience to recommend systemic improvements.
- Adapt and create initiatives to improve processes, employee engagement and team wellness.
- Manage yearly performance review cycle and provide compensation counselling and support to leaders: salary planning, salary actions, promotions etc.
- Oversea the implementation of a new performance tool.
- Develop an employee engagement framework which contributes to improved employee experience to ensure all employees feel valued, supported, involved, and engaged.
- Working collaboratively across group, global, APAC, recruitment, learning and development teams.
- Take ownership of all headcount reporting and forecasting.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation and take the lead in integrating any new HR policies and procedures.
- Nurture a positive working environment and foster inclusion and diversity.
- Consistently act as a role model in respect of Capgemini's values and hold both self and others to account.
- Actively look for opportunities to improve and implement positive change
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or Organisational Psychology
- 8 + years min of experience in HR Business Partner roles working with leaders and stakeholders within a complex matrixed environment
- Experience working in the consulting industry would be an advantage but not essential
- Exceptional people leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, develop and inspire people to deliver outstanding performance
- Experience of working in a global organisation
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong emotional intelligence
- Ability to promote HR best practice throughout the organization
- Confident to challenge at all levels and navigate different opinions
- Analytical mind - asks questions and able to identify critical detail quickly to support decision making
- Enjoys continuous improvement and change, is comfortable with ambiguity, has a positive outlook
- Experience of working in a busy and dynamic environment
- Has been instrumental in developing talent and performance management programmes which allow organisations to retain and develop top talent
