**Where you'll be working**:
Population and Community Health (PaCH) is part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
PaCH provides community health services that give care to individuals, families and carers, as well as population health services that focus on the whole community or key groups within the community.
PaCH's services are provided at the District's hospitals, community-based facilities including child and family health centres, community health centres and specialist clinics. We work with other service providers across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, including hospitals and mental health services.

**The Role**:

SESLHD Drug and Alcohol Services is a clinical institute for treatment, education and training, research and evaluation, clinical management of complex clients and an integrated model of counselling.
The primary function of the Research Project Officer is to support multiple research projects across several diverse areas of drug and alcohol treatment and addiction medicine, in conjunction with the Chief Investigators and Project Leads.
The position will provide ongoing support to clinical research activities including the conduct of research, evaluation, and quality improvement projects.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in clinical research, health and/or project management or relevant equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of research processes and Good Clinical Practice guidelines (GCP).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in performing a range of management and administrative tasks within allocated timeframe.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare briefings, reports, organise and conduct research interviews and committee meetings.
- Demonstrated strong organisational and problem-solving skills including proven ability to work on and support concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to meet current and emerging business needs.
