**About the Client**
Our large NSW State Government client works with vulnerable communities to ensure they have access to affordable, quality housing.

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an Administrative Officer - Housing Assistant to join their team in Redfern. This is an estimated 2-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of routine administrative activities to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the team.

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:

- Provide a wide range of administrative support
- Provide reception duties as necessary
- Prepare documentation including presentation material to support business unit managers and directors
- Support the use of business unit filing systems in accordance with standards and guidelines
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Work and maintain regular contact with other business areas to effectively arrange meetings and manage the flow of business information.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements

**About You**
To be successful in this assignment you will have the following:

- NSW Public Sector experience highly advantageous
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Superior organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Solid conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Acts with professionalism and high integrity
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
