About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. This pivotal role will support the ongoing compliance of our RTO with the Standards for RTOs 2025, regulatory requirements, and internal quality assurance processes.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, ensuring documentation is current and compliant, and assisting in the continuous improvement of compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update RTO compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and training records.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, including collating evidence and ensuring compliance against ASQA and regulatory standards.
- Monitor trainer/assessor qualifications, professional development, and currency requirements.
- Support the administration of student enrolment and progression records to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular checks on learning and assessment resources for compliance and version control.
- Provide compliance support and guidance to trainers, assessors, and other staff.
- Assist with AVETMISS reporting and data integrity reviews.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement register and implementation of corrective actions.
- Undertake administrative and overflow tasks as required to support the broader operations of the RTO.
- Carry out ad hoc tasks and requests as required to meet organisational needs.
About You
- Previous experience in RTO compliance or administration within the VET sector (highly regarded).
- Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2025 and regulatory requirements (ASQA).
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems (SMS experience desirable).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
