About the role
As a Report Analyst & Writer you will perform a broad range of duties involved in the full life cycle of reports within the system. This includes creating, updating, testing, and managing system reports.
You will be responsible for creating and updating operational, statistical, administration reports and reports required for government funding. You will assist others in testing, deploying, scheduling, and managing the reports used within the system. To do this you will be required to understand the use of the reports within the system.
You will successfully
- Define and interpret report specifications to ensure reports meet business requirements. Review and update as business requirements change.
- Identify which reports are required to be updated for each new release of the system.
- Design, develop and amend reports, MSSQL stored procedures, views and other queries.
- Perform report analysis through data quality testing of reports to ensure reports are correct and meet business requirements.
- Document test results and provide feedback to other team members.
- Plan and schedule reports, set up report packages and events for report distribution to ensure they are run at appropriate times.
- Collaborate with members of the System Administration and System Development teams to improve report efficiency and resource utilisation.
- Assist with system configuration, system testing and general support to users as directed by the Systems Administration Team Leader.
- Assist with operational projects as directed by the Systems Administration Team Leader that assist in ensuring consistent and accurate practice for data collection and reporting within SAMIS and related data and Client Information systems
This is a fixed term(2 years), permanent role, located in Redfern, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Hay level 13 award.
You will have
- Proven Crystal Reports and SAP Web Intelligence
- Proven experience writing SQL stored procedures, views and tables for MSSQL Database
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational database and CRM’s
- SAP - Central Management Console
- 3+ years’ experience in Crystal Reports writing
- 3+ years’ experience in MS SQL
- A national police record check is required
- A Working with Children Check is required
- A national police record check is required
- Working With Children Check
