About the role
Casual opportunity to assist in the provision of a high-quality nutrition and food service to patients/clients of the hospital by assisting in the delivery of meals, receiving, stock rotation, FIFO of stores, delivery of stores to departments in the Redcliffe Hospital. To clean and maintain specified areas within the facility.
About you
- Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Metro North core values, as outlined.
- Participate in a range of operational duties as part of direct duties, or to assist staff in other duties. This will include stock receivables and storage, stock control, serving on the plating line, trolley delivery to ward, serving meals and beverages to patients, dishwashing etc.
- Responsible for cleaning duties in allocated areas as part of direct duties or to assist staff. This will include store rooms and cold and freezer rooms.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to prioritise duties.
