**The Company**:
You will be joining a company that is a market leader in their field, providing Australians with well-known food products for decades. This well-established and iconic business is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join the team to drive awareness and implementation of Quality processes for the site.

**This role is an initial 3month contract position with the view for permanency.**

**You will be working the night shift, (Full time hours) Monday to Friday.**

**Please note there is a 30% extra loading for the night shift.**

**The Role**:
**Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager** your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining product quality and food safety standards compliance across the business
- Support the development, implementation, ongoing maintenance and simplification of the site’s Quality management system (including HACCP, BRC, GMP, internal audit system, document control and regulatory compliance)
- Daily quality activities including line walks, product release and foreign material investigation to ensure the safe manufacture of conforming product
- Investigate consumer complaints, report findings and determine corrective actions
- Drive the continuous improvement process for quality across the entire site and increasing awareness.

**Your Background**:

- Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology or related industry.
- 3+ Years experience working in a QA role within a GFSI certified food business
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- Understanding of BRC and GMP
