This role is responsible for all aspects of the business relating to quality assurance and is a key support for the Site Quality Assurance & Technical Manager.

To assist the company to accomplish its objectives by completing quality assurance tasks effectively. The Quality Assurance Officer ensures that customer, external and internal quality and contractual requirements are met, while supporting the continual improvement of company systems in line with the company strategic direction.
Through the monitoring and advancement of food safety and quality programs, daily process system checks, the implementation of short and long term projects and continuous improvement, the QA Officer will ensure the integrity of each manufactured goods batch produced as well as trade products leaving the premises through documentation reviews, so that our customers can always enjoy our products with full confidence and satisfaction.
This role supports the quality management system and is also involved in the undertaking of quality improvement projects when the potential for improvement is identified.
Responsible for the product approval and release and the assurance of compliance of our products. This role represents Brenntag in industry associations, working groups and supports the production site through contact with local authorities.

Qualification
- Hold a related tertiary qualification. Human nutrition component and/or food science preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in food / pharma industry within a QA/quality role.
- High level of organizational skills, including written and verbal communication, creative problem solving, including high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of and experience with GMP, food safety and HACCP systems required.
- Good Microsoft Office skills required.
- Experience with SAP preferred
