**On A Day-to-day, You’ll See Yourself Responsible For**:

- Cloud monitoring and alerting requirements through needs analysis and stakeholder workshops.
- Articulate, document and present designs for a solution across the Lakehouse Platform.
- Create templates and pipelines to implement repeatable, version controlled solutions.
- Workshops for stakeholder engagement & needs analysis
- Create technical drawings and design documentation.
- Create templates for observability dashboards, alerts, etc
- Mentor & upskill team members on observability.
- Instrument code base as required to surface metrics.

**Experience To Succeed In The Role**:

- Experience in defining, designing and maintaining cloud monitoring and observability solutions.
- Excellent communication and written documentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement & needs analysis skills.
- Experience in the following tools:
AWS: AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS X-Ray
Azure: Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights
Tools: Python, Terraform, bash/PowerShell
(Desirable): ELK stack, OpenTelemetry
- SAFe/Agile Trained
- Instrument code base as required to surface metrics.
