**We are looking for**:
Byron Shire Council is currently seeking a Business Partner (Workforce Management). The position provides human resource support and services for Council and ensures that the People and Culture Team delivers a professional level of human resources management services.
**About you**:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of key human resource functions such as recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, salary administration, policy and communications.
- Mediation/Conflict Resolution qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience (preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Local Government and an understanding of associated Human Resource Management and legislative requirements (preferred).
**We offer**:
- A 12 month Maximum term, part time position (9 day/ 63 hours per fortnight) until May 2026 (parental leave backfill).

- Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $1,568.10 to $1,889.55 per full-time, 70 hour fortnight (dependent upon skills and experience).

**Location**:
This position is based at Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
