**About the role**
- **Lead** project teams in infrastructure planning to meet needs for new and upgraded school facilities.
- **Develop** infrastructure business cases for NSW Treasury, including cost/benefit analysis and technical assessments.
- **Provide** expert advice and recommendations on complex infrastructure issues to support decision-making.
- **Implement** strategies for monitoring and evaluating project progress, including risk and quality management.
- **Promote** safety and sustainability in all projects, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

The role involves leading complex infrastructure projects from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. You will work within a dynamic team at School Infrastructure NSW, which is dedicated to improving public education facilities across NSW.

**About you**
- Proven experience in managing multiple infrastructure projects.
- Ability to develop complex business cases and conduct cost/benefit analyses.
- Strong technical advice and problem-solving skills in infrastructure planning.
- Effective stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge and commitment to the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and partnership agreements.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
- Current general construction card (White card) or attainment within a reasonable timeframe.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
