**The Company**

A leading manufacturer of construction chemicals on a global scale. The products range from grouts, resins, sealants and additives and waterproofing treatments. For over 80 years our client has partnered with clients in the construction industry to provide tailored end-to-end solutions to their building needs. The client has earned a reputation for quality and excellence, through offering superior products and ensuring outstanding customer service. You will be joining a company that firmly promotes a positive atmosphere and a dynamic team environment. You will be given the chance to work with a dynamic team that has a track record of growing a well-established business.

**The Role**
- Based in Melbourne, you will be looking after Melbourne metro and occasional regional VIC areas.
- You will be selling our client’s range of flooring chemical products such as resins, sealants, waterproofing and other related products.
- Your customer base would consist of builder and contractors in both the commercial and residential space back selling through the distribution/retail channel they have.
- Speaking with site managers, project managers, and business owners on a daily basis.
- This role will have you chase and hunt new business 75% of the time - using your market knowledge, and research to prospect new business.
- You will be working closely with the VIC State Sales Manager who will provide you market and product training.

**YOU**
- Ideally, you have building materials sales experience as well - i.e., flooring, timber, windows and doors, aluminium, sealants, resins, paint and other related products
- with the Most important thing being on the tools
- In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone enthusiastic, with a stable track record, eager to learn and has a proactive mindset.
