Our client is a market leading manufacturer, supplier and service provider in the fields of weighing, laboratory and process instrumentation. With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, they are seeking to appoint a high performing Technical Sales Representative to join their Sydney office. The company prides itself on putting their employees first with an emphasis on work-life balance while delivering a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere.

**Responsibilities**
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets within the territory.
- Develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships.
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
- Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments.
- Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and provide after sales support.

**Requirements**:

- Proven business development and sales experience in technical, capital equipment or ICT products.
- Track record of over-achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce CRMs.
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
- Computer use competency.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Tertiary qualifications desirable.
