We are looking for a Credit Specialist to join our Revenue Protection Team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in resolving high-debt and unknown energy consumer challenges, driving commercial outcomes while ensuring compliance. What you will be doing:

- Manage a portfolio of complex and high-debt Unknown Energy Consumer (UEC) sites, ensuring timely resolution.
- Address and resolve challenges related to Disconnection for Non-Payment (DNP) and Disconnection for Non-Identification (DNI).
- Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., NMC, Sales Fulfilment) and external distributors to resolve failed disconnections and drive successful outcomes.
- Support case management for DNP/DNI requests, ensuring smooth coordination across the business.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve processes, support back-of-house teams with daily exceptions, and draft work instructions for new initiatives.
- Deliver monthly reporting and innovative solutions to improve credit management practices and drive quality reconnection outcomes.

What we would like to see you bring:

- Proven experience in credit management and collections, preferably within the energy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of energy consumer processes, disconnection/reconnection procedures, and business rules.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and experience in debt performance management.
- Prior experience in stakeholder engagement and network/distributor collaboration.
- Proficiency with SAP ISU/CRM and SQL, and experience with skip-tracing or lead generation.
- Ability to analyse processes, recommend improvements, and drive implementation to completion.
