Our client, a rapidly evolving leader in the critical infrastructure space, is seeking to build a Testing Centre of Excellence (CoE) and has engaged us to connect them with an experienced Testing Practice Lead.

**About the role**:
As the Testing Practice Lead, you will be accountable for a combination of:

- Test Strategy and Execution:

- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive Test Strategies for projects across the PMO, driving continuous improvement in test processes.
- Implement and oversee diverse testing methodologies, for example, functional, non-functional, manual & automated testing.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders for smooth integration of test execution throughout the project life cycle.
- People Management:

- Build and lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals, fostering a culture of development, collaboration, and ownership.
- Act as a mentor and coach for your team in developing their skills across a variety of testing methodologies.
- Hold responsibility for recruiting and onboarding new team members to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Strategic Contribution:

- Work with business leaders to define the test strategy that best aligns with both PMO and organisational goals.
- Remain on top of industry trends and emerging test technologies, capitalising on opportunities for improvement and innovation within the practice.

**About You**:

- Significant demonstrated experience as a Tester, with a strong understanding of the IT and utilities landscape, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, leading, and executing test strategies for complex projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with excellent communication and presentation skills to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders and articulate complex technical concepts to all audiences.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching QA professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of various testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Selenium, JMeter).
