About the Role
Lead team members responsible for quality assurance, complaints resolution, internal review and first line risk activities to support continuous improvement and innovation in the claims team.

Duties

Practice Lead
you will:
- Coordinate staff schedules and supply of consultants to align with project delivery objectives.
- Maintain standards, including the enforcement of technology related policies, procedures and processes to ensure appropriate use of information technology in a secure computing environment.
- Lead and manage practice project development team performance and output; coaching and mentoring direct reports.
- Support the planning, design, creation and delivery of quality products.
- Vendor Engagement - Responsible for supply & demand management of cross platform SME's.
- Ensure optimal organizational structures are in place and the teams/staff have the requisite skills to deliver against expectations, i.e. Ensuring the efficient use of resources and appropriate alignment of skills to projects.
- Ensure frameworks that facilitate the delivery of end-to-end projects are always used, and make sure all Practice consultants establish and maintain the correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables aligned to Delivery Manager and Scrum team expectations.
- Ensure delivery frameworks and methods (methodologies, tooling and delivery capability) are aligned to icare's quality standards and consistently adopted across all projects.
- Ensure collaborative approach with Practice Manager, Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years' experience leading enterprise-level IT programs, designing standards and specifications.
- Prior exposure or experience in Guidewire is considered advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership positions within business applications environments.
- Proven Agile delivery experience in a large enterprise organisation.
- Experience working with a Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery Lead.
- Experience leveraging formal program management methodologies on enterprise level engagements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise IT Trends, procurement process and decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges Ability to manage high level relationships, influence senior stakeholders and have excellent negotiation skills.
- Experience attracting new talent, developing team capabilities, and performing people management responsibilities.
- Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management.
- In-depth understanding of project management principles (traditional and agile).
- Ability to manage complexity (e.g. managing remote teams and multiple stakeholders).
- Solid financial acumen.
- Solid people management skills including motivation, relationships, interpersonal skills, coaching and conflict resolution.
- Awareness and understanding of multiple technologies.
