Exciting Leadership opportunity for an experienced Procurement Portfolio Manager.

The Procurement Portfolio Manager manages multiple categories of spending for one or more business units. They develop and execute category strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and analyst market trends. Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills and commercial experience are required, with a focus on delivering value to customers and employees. This role operates across the Bupa APAC Market Unit, providing supply market knowledge and innovation to drive competitive advantage.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)

**How will I help?**

**You will add value by**:

- Leading a commercial sourcing team to manage activities and establish supplier arrangements that deliver desired outcomes, while providing governance and guidance to build procurement expertise across the organisation.
- Supporting procurement transformation across APAC procurement team and the broader business while advocating for a robust, accountable procurement culture
- Delivering a portfolio management plan that aligns with the business unit strategic plans, supported by risk management and compliance processes, and ensures continuous value for money
- Developing innovative sourcing strategies and building relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, while leading and developing a high-performing team focused on delivering quality procurement outcomes and fostering talent and career progression

**What do I need?**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, law, or supply chain operations, with postgraduate studies desirable.
- Successful experience in commercial management, from strategy development to execution.
- Significant business, commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience in successful commercial negotiations, with evidence of having applied innovative thinking, persuasive and negotiating skills and strategic planning
