**The Company**

This highly successful Australian Engineering business manufactures highly specialised products worldwide. They have experienced significant growth and continue to invest heavily in NPD to ensure they continue to be world leaders in their product range. An opportunity has been created for a Procurement Manager to manage the end-to-end procurement of direct materials.

**The Role**

Reporting to the GM, your responsibilities will include;
- You will support the development, deployment, and management of procurement strategies for direct categories
- You will deliver sustained value and competitive advantage for the business by working closely with internal stakeholders (engineers) and suppliers
- Leading the design and implementation of sourcing strategies, you will deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements across the portfolio
- You will develop adherence policies and work with the business to ensure optimum service levels are achieved by all levels of suppliers

**Your Background**

In order to be successful in this role you will be;
- You will have an Engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience sourcing highly specialised raw materials
- You will have exposure to working closely with engineering and NPD teams to ensure suppliers align with technical and quality requirements
- Well-developed compliance and regulation experience with the ability to manage supplier contracts
- A desire to continuously review and improve current processes, with a collaborative approach to all stakeholders
