Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Recruitment Officer/Advisor on a 6 month non-ongoing contract with possibility of extension
**Position Overview**
Recruitment Advisor is responsible for end-to-end recruitment and onboarding functions.
- Duties include:
- Supporting stakeholders and providing advice on recruitment and onboarding matters
- Facilitate internal and external advertising, including through the Whole of Australian Government media agency
- Manage the day-to-day operations of junior members of the team
- Champion best practice and appropriate governance for recruitment processes with business areas
- Under guidance of a senior member of the team, review selection reports for delegate approval and provide constructive feedback to selection panels to encourage continuous improvement
- Experience in managing end-to-end APS recruitment as part of an in-house recruitment function serving internal stakeholders
- Understanding of the Public Service Act, APS Commissioner's Directions, and other relevant restrictions and guidelines that relate to APS recruitment
- Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure the best possible hiring outcome is achieved
- Ability communicating to internal and external audiences as well as good verbal, written and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
