Join our dynamic team as a People Officer on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, where you'll report directly to the People Partner and collaborate closely to drive the operational success of our People and Culture strategy. In this pivotal generalist role, you'll coordinate a variety of People and Culture activities, ensuring a productive and supportive work environment that embodies I-MED's core values.

**Job Purpose**:
This newly created role will support the People Partner and serve as a key point of contact for stakeholder and team member inquiries. You will play a vital role across various functions, including, Employee Relations, Organisational Development and Talent Acquisition and Onboarding. Additionally, you will focus on the ongoing enhancement of leadership capabilities within the Network.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Acting as the first point of contact for team-leaders and managers, with support from the People Partner
- Assisting the People Partner in managing ER/IR issues and providing support and guidance for Managers within Victoria and Tasmania
- Helping design and implement initiatives to enhance team-leader and manager capabilities
- Supporting the People Partner in developing talent retention and development strategies
- Providing guidance on the interpretation of employment contracts, enterprise agreements, awards, and policies
- Monitoring exit survey feedback and assisting with follow-up actions, including face-to-face exit interviews
- Collaborating with the People Experience team to design initiatives that enhance workforce engagement and implement communication activities based on feedback
- Collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team and stakeholders to coordinate local talent acquisition activities, including onboarding processes

With a couple of years HR experience in a mid-to-large organisation, this is your chance to deepen your understanding of HR best practices and innovative employee experience design. You'll have experience with trade unions and managing ER issues You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with business stakeholders, helping to understand their needs and manage expectations. The role is based in Mount Waverley with hybrid working arrangements and we are open to the role being part time (4 days per week) or full time (5 days per week). You may be required to travel within Victoria and Tasmania on occasion.
