Highvale Retirement Village, located in Glen Waverley is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Bus Driver/Maintenance Officer to join their team on a Casual basis.

The role will require you to work Every Monday (8am-1pm) /Every Second Wednesday (9am-4pm) /Every Friday (8am-1pm, occasionally to 4pm) with additional hours as required and agreed upon.

In this role you will provide safe transportation of our Village residents to local shopping centres and special outings (as per the monthly calendar) and return them at the end of their outing. You will also perform other ad-hoc duties as required, such as picking up equipment, booking vehicle maintenance and reporting to Village Management. You will be involved in general maintenance work around the village.
- Medium Rigid (or above) licence with a good driving record:

- Experience driving a bus/people mover, including with a trailer
- Experience working with elderly people, and the awareness of mobility/health and safety issues that may occur
- Team-focused, with willingness to perform other ad-hoc duties when required
- Ability to identify when bus requires maintenance
- Trade Qualification (Desirable)
- Proven General Maintenance Experience
- Level 2 First Aid certificate
- Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination as well as proof of the COVID-19 Vaccination with supporting documentation prior to joining. Pre employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made. _
