We are looking for a talented Commercial Manager to join our team and lead the delivery, negotiation, and management of high-value contracts and partnerships across our dynamic portfolio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping strategic commercial outcomes through Public-Private Partnerships and large-scale agreements, enabling sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

You will be instrumental in driving commercial excellence, overseeing complex deal structures, and ensuring contractual performance across projects worth hundreds of millions. This is a critical role within our organisation, ideal for someone who combines commercial acumen with strategic thinking and a deep understanding of partnership models in both public and private sectors.

**THE ROLE**

The purpose of this role is to provide sound commercial support to the Healthcare sector of the business including mobilisation of new Footscray Hospital and Frankston hospitals. Key responsibilities include end of month and management reporting, contractual compliance & reviews and financial analysis of relevant portfolio. Promotion and support of Our Safety Culture framework is expected.

Main responsibilities:

- Accurate & Timely Month End Closing Processes
- Contract Compliance
- Assisting Internal & External Stakeholders
- Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Vic hospital PPP contract management
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and streamlining of existing processes
- Assisting with retention, bid modelling & supporting growth
- Follow Compass health, safety and security procedures

**THE PERSON**
- Degree qualified and CA/CPA
- Minimum 5-7 years previous experience within commercial accounting environment
- Sound technical and analytical skills
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills
- Proven ability in providing senior operations leadership with advanced finance support and influencing outcomes based on well-presented analytics

**Desirable**:

- Understanding of, and ability to manage in, a PPP environment
- Previous management experience within a hospital environment
- Experience in ORACLE/ QFM systems
- Experience in financial modelling and commercial review
