Our client is an international growing high-value company specialising in geosynthetic building materials. As the company is picking up more work, they require a Technical Sales Representative for their Queensland division to grow their Roads and Pavements business, by presenting to clients and design engineers the products and relevant information in this niche market.

**Main Duties**:

- Present to consulting engineers and asset owners the relevant roads and pavements products while maintaining and improving business relationships.
- Build meaningful and long-lasting business relationships with new asset owners relevant to the product as well as current stakeholders, and ensure their technical and operational needs are met.
- Assess technical drawings and specifications associated with stakeholders' projects, and assist with the tenders and quotations for both long and short-term supply contracts.
- Negotiate and implement contracts with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on pavements/roads and the geosynthetic solutions being sold relevant to the specific customer and project needs.
- Achieve agreed KPIs diligently and effectively while working autonomously.

**About You**:

- Confident sales ability and strong drive are mandatory, with familiarity with the pavement/asphalt industry.
- A professional solution-focused attitude with the ability to influence and gain commitment from stakeholders, and fit into a highly motivated team environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A current, valid and clean driving licence.
- Previous experience and strong knowledge in pavement construction or the asphalt industry would be beneficial.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or business.
- A relevant and trustworthy network within the roads/pavements space would be highly beneficial.
- Willing to travel regionally to visit projects as required.
