How you will make an impact
Our P&C Business Partners are skilled generalists working in an experienced team reporting to the Director of Employee Relations. They provide support, guidance and solutions to directors and people managers within a mix of corporate and healthcare operations portfolios. This high-impact role has a focus on key people-related matters, including performance, engagement, development, and employee relations. This is achieved through collaboration with the broader P&C team and internal stakeholders, and alignment with Cabrini’s strategy, values and vision.
Key to the success of the role is strong service delivery focus, compliance mindset, and employee relations proficiency.
Key activities include:
- Acting as a trusted adviser to group Directors and portfolio leaders- Management of employee relations matters such as conduct, performance, conflict resolution and disputes, including conducting end-to-end workplace investigations.-
- Support organisational change management activities, ensuring compliance with policy and enterprise agreements where relevant.- Contribute to People and Culture projects and programs of work associated with employee reward and recognition, employee listening, learning and development, and health, safety and wellbeing.
About you
Success in the role will require a confident and collaborative operating style, strong problem-solving capability and a compliance mindset. In addition, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar field of study.- Knowledge of contemporary human resources practices and frameworks.- Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partnering or similar role in a medium to large sized organisation with a complex operating structure.- Working knowledge of Australian ER legislation, enterprise agreements and Awards.- Ability to align HR initiatives with business goals and contribute to strategic planning.- Ability to analyse HR metrics and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.- Sensitivity to diverse workplace cultures and the ability to promote inclusivity.- Capacity to develop trust and build effective business relationships with all levels of the organisation.-
- Well-developed influencing, negotiating and dispute resolution capability.- Technology proficiency in the MS suite, case management software and HRIS systems (experience using Workday will be advantageous).
