**About the Role**:
The** Vendor Business Manager - Palo Alto**

The Vendor Business Manager is responsible for the overall direction and management of their assigned vendor/s. Developing strategies that will achieve profitability and growth targets while owning the P&L ensuring costs are minimized by driving process efficiencies and profit by maximizing on growth strategies.

The vendor business manager acts as the brand ambassador for their vendor to internal stakeholders, providing a specialized consultative service, driving, and maintaining vendor programs, marketing direction, training; review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts and communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters; build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance.

**Your role will include but not limited to**:

- Accountable for the profitability of the assigned vendor and business segments or projects, ensure vendor target are met.
- Develop and facilitate profitable partnerships and strategic management of the vendor relationship, develop business plan.
- Build and maintain tight relationships and regular contact and relationship with all key vendor personnel.
- Drive business for assigned vendor, understand key initiatives, assisting vendor operations manager with product and markets served.
- Maximising mindshare for assigned vendors architecture segments with both the vendors and general sales team and offering appropriate level of sales support
- Coordination of Ingram Micro - Vendor Marketing Plan
- Responsible for optimizing's GM$ and % margin by product group and the integrity of the pricing data
- Inventory Management & rebates

- Strong Excel/MS Office skills, financial/numeric skills to work with pricing, stock/inventory management and reporting
- Experienced in multiple market sectors, with a strong business acumen
- Ability to thrive within an innovative, fast-paced and competitive environment
- Product management/sales/procurement and marketing positioning experience
