About role:
Your journey as a Market Development Manager will be driven by your passion for engagement, empowerment, and the technology. Your ability to connect with various business levels will distinguish you, as you ignite excitement and drive sales opportunities aligned with our aligning vendors in the dynamic Australian market. You'll sculpt a vibrant partner ecosystem, fueling hype and fostering growth.

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions:

- Provide an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality industry solutions.
- Develop business strategies and opportunities with new and/or existing customers to expand existing relationships and develop new relationships.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to analyse the viability of alternative business development opportunities.
- Collect, compile, verify, and analyse financial, competitive, sales, marketing, and other information about potential business partners, new markets, products and services, or other business opportunities.
- Build your knowledge base around the capabilities of the portfolio to proficiently articulate the solution delivery to our resellers.
- Collaborate with vendors, and other internal Ingram Micro teams to successfully position the relevant solution into competitive situations.

Essential Skills, Experience & Requirements:

- Prior experience in new business development is mandatory.
- Prior experience with customer management/consulting skills
- Excellent personal, organizational and time management skills and an ability to plan and implement marketing plans and business strategies.
- A strong natural influencer that engages with all stakeholders, to build credible, high-quality relationships.
- A Hunter mindset with a passion for technology and proven professional sales.
- Commercial sensitivity and uncompromising ethics are a must.
- A high degree of commercial acumen is also an essential prerequisite.
- Experience in the Data Capture, Point-of-Sale, or Healthcare IT channel is preferred.
