We’re looking for a results-driven National Sales Manager to join our Consumer Division based in Sydney. Working in close partnership with our existing National Sales Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in shaping and executing the consumer sales strategy across a broad portfolio. This position is focused on driving revenue through key retail partners, strengthening vendor relationships, and enabling high performance within the sales team. You'll be delivering both top-line growth and margin, while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and execution excellence.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Own and deliver sales budget and margin targets for the Consumer Division
- Manage key retailer relationships and drive sell-through across the channel
- Collaborate with vendors on promotions, range planning, and sales incentives
- Lead a team of account managers, providing direction, coaching, and support
- Maintain visibility on performance through pipeline and forecast management
- Partner with marketing, category, and operations to ensure seamless execution
- Identify gaps in market coverage and pursue new business opportunities
**Role Expectations**
- In-depth understanding of the retail/consumer channel within the distribution landscape
- Proven ability to influence both vendors and retailers to drive commercial outcomes
- Commercially focused, with strong attention to both revenue and margin
- Experienced people leader, able to develop, motivate, and support high-performing teams
- Skilled in managing strategic customer relationships and complex negotiations
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and navigating a matrixed structure
