- established Brisbane metallurgical testing laboratory

Seeking a casual entry-level Lab Technologist/Assistant

We are looking for a person with a Science degree or other relevant scientific qualifications, with strong technical knowledge. This role will be best for someone who has just graduated or someone who is looking for an entry level role in laboratory.

This role is based in Coopers Plains
- Full Time, Mon - Fri
- Essential: Lab experience (knows how to unload and prepare samples)

This position will require the successful applicant to:

- Responsible for unloading, loading, sorting, and weighing of samples, packing sample for storage and assay
- Simple hot plate digest - involves weighing aliquot, heating on hotplate, vacuum filtering, making up to volume, diluting, submitting for assay
- Responsible for good housekeeping in sample preparation and associated areas.
