An exciting opportunity exists for experienced Laboratory Technicians to join the team at QCTesting in Yandina, a leading provider of civil materials testing services across Southeast Qld.

We currently have multiple full-time positions available for both field and laboratory technicians servicing projects and supporting laboratory operations.

About the Role

You'll work both independently and as part of a skilled team conducting materials testing, maintaining and calibrating equipment, and ensuring results meet industry and quality standards.

Immediate start available for laboratory-based roles, with a competitive hourly rate and consistent overtime opportunities.

Applicants should live locally or be willing to travel to the Sunshine Coast region.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily laboratory testing and maintain accurate records
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy
  • Follow internal QA systems and proficiency testing programs
  • Complete housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with field staff to ensure efficient workflow
  • Work independently and manage daily work requirements

Requirements

  • Ability to perform hands-on, manual work
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – preferred
  • Strong computer skills for data entry and reporting
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (or higher)
  • Soil and Aggregate Testing experience required
  • Radioactive Use Licence preferred (training can be provided)
