We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Casual Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team at Nucleus Network.

About the role

As a Laboratory Technician you will assist with the processing of samples from the first screening of future participants through to the inpatient stays and following outpatient visits.

Key responsibilities

  • Specimen reception and registration
  • Sample preparation and processing
  • Sample testing
  • Sample shipping
  • Data collection

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified in a health or science-related degree
  • Experience working in a laboratory (desired)
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team
  • Good understanding of clinical research
  • Adaptable, shows initiative and has a strong attention to detail
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Flexible hours - Casual
