Prospection is backed by Ellerston JAADE, Horizons Ventures and Main Sequence Ventures.

**The Opportunity**
The IT Operations Admin reports into the Head of Infrastructure, Operations and Services and is responsible for the smooth operations of Prospection’s internal IT systems. These are almost exclusively cloud based services. By centrally managing these services the IT Operations team can ensure Prospection can achieve its ambitious growth goals. Prospection uses a large variety of IT services across all parts of the business and these either operate independently or connect with each other to share potentially sensitive information. Ensuring this is done efficiently and securely is the principle goal of this role which has been newly created at Prospection.
**Principle Responsibilities**
Act as the service owner for many of the 50+ 3rd party services that are in operation including responsibilities such as:
- Evaluation and setup of services according to our internal supplier policies
- Managing and auditing user access
- Reporting on usage and cost (ROI)
- License management
- General documentation oversight (including our administrative IT materials and product/service specific information)
- Implementation of the technical setup to enable SSO, IDP (including SAML), SCIM among others
Provide support to existing or create new integration solutions via platforms such as Zapier. The connectivity between systems is a key way we get value out of these services and it’s important for us to be able to effectively manage these integration points in a controlled way.
Provide ad hoc IT Support within an internal service desk environment (ITSM). We use Atlassian ServiceDesk to handle internal IT support and this allows a single point of contact for the whole company to access a broad range of capabilities. Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests is important to keeping our team running smoothly.
As well as being a user of the ITSM you will be able to assist us with the advanced setup of these systems to do the work most effectively. Along with ServiceDesk you will be able to provide internal user support for key platforms such as Google Workspace and the Atlassian product suite.
**Secondary** **Responsibilities**
Other areas where you can add value include in:
- supporting the rollout or management of key IT security initiatives including MDM, DLP, EDR, ZTA among others.
- assisting with the creation and testing of BCP and DR plans.
- supporting our cloud engineering team with vulnerability management (scanning, patching, remediation), penetration testing and backup management across our cloud infrastructure services.
**Essential Criteria**
The primary personal attributes we are looking for are:
- Strong attention to detail
- Inquisitive, analytical and able to think outside the box
- Excellent communicator (both written and in person) who can bridge the gap with non-native english speakers equally as well as fluent ones
- A strong sense of delivering high quality service and pride in their work
Other attributes or experience would ideally include:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an IT domain
- Experience providing high quality service under pressure
- Demonstrable experience learning on the job and finding innovative solutions to problems from your own research
- Relevant technical, security or general IT experience desirable but not mandatory
