**The Role** A Functional Consultant is responsible for business requirements gathering sessions for various salesforce-related projects. You are a facilitative team member who communicates well, manages clients' expectations and ensures that standard processes adhere. You will be both technical and functional in your capacity as a consultant. Your role will be in an overall consulting capacity,, and you will complete components of the Functional Consultant and Developer duties to be a well-rounded consultant. **Job description** - Designing and creating Salesforce solutions for Salesforce communities and Salesforce lightning platform - Leading workshops and running requirement gathering sessions to determine business requirements. - Liaising between stakeholders and the technical team - Requirement gathering and facilitating workshops, then translating this information into technical requirements for the team to solution in line with business requirements. - Hands-on with Salesforce Configuration and have previously worked in the same environment. - Unblocking the Developers if they have any questions on the stories and leveraging the correct information to align with the current sprint goals. **Profile** - Excellent communications skills to liaise with all levels of stakeholders regarding Salesforce capabilities. - Proven experience in facilitating requirements gathering workshops - At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar functional consultant role - Work with the team to design and present your solutions to key stakeholders. - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - Sound technical knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce platform especially Salesforce communities, Salesforce Lightning Design System and Salesforce Lightning Platform. **Behaviours** - Must have good communication, organisation, and time management skills - Ability to work within a small or large diverse team to reach their highest potential - Must be "self-motivated" as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems - Must be collaborative in driving decisions - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail - Accountable, maintain performance standards, resolve business issues, be engaged and on task - You will hold or be willing to obtain Salesforce certifications within your probation period. - **Salesforce Functional Consultant**: - **Permanent (multiple opportunities)**: - **Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or remote within Australia
