Opportunity for an Executive Support Officer with the Queensland state government

**Your new company**

Is a Brisbane Museum featuring science, culture & natural history exhibits specific to the Queensland region. It offers a deep dive into the collections of Queensland's tropical paradise.

**Your new role**

It will involve providing executive support to the Executive Director of Corporate Services, the Chief Financial Officer, as well as the wider Corporate Services team. You will also manage a Business Services Coordinator. Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Providing high level confidential executive and administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer
- Managing daily agendas, scheduling appointments and travel arrangements
- Receiving and assisting visitors, overseeing document flows
- Ensuring enquiries are appropriately managed
- Provide admin support to the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee
- Scheduling, preparation and timely delivery of papers, minutes and agendas
- Collate and interpret data and research
- Draft routine reports and briefing notes
- Maintain appropriate records

**What you'll need to succeed**- Action orientated and detail-driven- Highly organised and calm under pressure- Exemplary interpersonal skills- Flexible can do attitude- Ability to work in a team- Good organisational skills to organise work priorities- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Suite- Government experience will be highly regarded
