**The Client**:
Our client is an independent financial entity of the public sector.

**The Role**:
The Finance Officer provides procurement, accounting functions, and financial services to the businesses, linking with other teams to ensure an integrated and client focused service is maintained.

**What to expect in the role**:

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Contract and Procurement function and assist in the ongoing implementation of the company’s corporate procurement framework.
- Assist the Finance Manager with the development of Significant Procurement Plans.
- Provide advice on contract and procurement issues in relation to value for money and accountability.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing reconciliations and management of creditors.
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain FBT records and prepare the annual FBT return.
- Providing accounting services across the business.

**You**
To be successful for this role. You will have:

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Sound knowledge and experience of procurement and contract management.
- Experienced in using **Microsoft Dynamics AX and Aurion Payroll system.**:

- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to meet deadlines.
