**Parenting Program Facilitator**

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a qualified Mental Health Clinician to join our 0-25 team on a **part** **time** basis.

The Parenting Program Facilitator is responsible for establishing a group-based parenting program for families of children accessing our infant, child and youth area mental health and well being service. The program is for parents of children aged 0-11 years.

The program aims to increase the skills and confidence of parents/carers to effectively identify and support the mental health and well being of their children and to effectively parent challenging behavior. We have 2x part time positions available of 20 hours each per week to develop and run this program.

The 0-25 team provides mental health assessment and care to children and young people and their families and carers across Gippsland.

- Qualifications as a Registered Nurse with Post Graduate Qualifications in Mental Health Nursing or Social Work with Qualifications accepted by AASW, or Occupational Therapy or Psychology
- Experience in working in child and youth mental health or a minimum of 4 years Post Graduate Mental Health experience
- Understanding of group dynamics
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
