**Job Description**:

- Permanent full-time opportunity in Kirrawee, NSW
- Use your passion to support our customers and communities

We are seeking a motivated, inquisitive individual with prior working experience in a manufacturing business (within a production or technical function).

You will also be required to:

- Inspect and measure all product batches, working with the Production Supervisor and with the blenders and operators to ensure conformance to specifications and to customer expectations.
- Communicate and manage the resolution of product or process defects, to the relevant persons.
- Document, measure and inspect, insolate, and control non-conforming products identified from in-process inspections and from customer returns.
- Action Management decisions on the treatment of non-conforming products and those corrective actions arising.
- Coordinate detailed testing of physical and chemical product characteristics with the Head Office testing facility.
- Maintain the ISO9001 quality system and HACCP food safety system including all documentation and internal audit programs.
- Manage the internal audit program for the systems.
- Assist in the system’s annual and tri-annual external audits.
- Assist in the development of procedures to improve quality and food safety systems.
- Assist in the development of product testing equipment and methods.
- Assist in managing the development of new materials, products and manufacturing processes, taking charge of recording product and process details, internal trial product inspection, measurement & evaluation.
- Assist in managing customer-based trials.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing business, working in a production or technical function.
- Worked with documented & audited processes and systems.
- In-depth experience in working with QC and accredited QA systems.
- Strong experience in laser product development.
- Analytical skills
- Strong judgment
- Excellent written and verbal skills
