**About the role**

You will be based at our Kirrawee office from 9am to 5pm, and will be responsible for instore computer repairs and helping fulfill IT support requests from our business & residential customers in a L1 capacity. There will be onsite work at our customers premises, depending on your capabilities, which we will help develop.

You will be responsible for:

- Diagnosis and repair of malfunctioning computers
- Setup of new computers (Windows, macOS)
- Occasional onsite support (residential and business)
- Malware recovery
- Printer/scanner setup
- Data recovery

**Experience**

At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role is desirable, but we can look past this for applicants that have the right skillset, attitude and perhaps excel in other areas.

**Essential Skills and Expertise**
- PC and laptop hardware assembly, disassembly, and component-level repair
- Operating system installation and configuration (Windows and macOS)
- Hardware and software diagnostics and fault isolation
- Data backup, recovery, and transfer across platforms
- Remote troubleshooting using RMM and remote desktop tools
- Microsoft 365 account setup, configuration, and basic administration
- DNS configuration and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Printer installation and network configuration
- Router and wireless network setup, including ISP integration and wireless standards
- Foundational networking knowledge, including IP addressing, DHCP, and LAN troubleshooting

**Highly Regarded but Not Essential**
- Windows Server administration
- Virtualization via HyperV or Proxmox
- Micro-soldering
- Coding (powershell, python, javascript)
- Website development
- Azure Functions / PowerApps Development
- Linux familiarity
