**HR GENERALIST**

The HR Generalist reports to the HR Manager and assists in the administration of a broad range of HR duties including recruitment, training, compliance, employee/labor relations, and the communication of organizational policies and procedures.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Act as the first point of contact to provide timely and accurate HR services and support.
- Manage the end to end recruitment process.
- Prepare formal HR correspondence including employment contracts.
- Facilitate onboarding and develop other HR training programs for delivery.
- Maintain accurate employee related records in IEEFA’s database(s).
- Assist the HR Manager in providing advice and interpretations regarding relevant policies and procedures to IEEFA personnel.
- Support the HR Manager in the development and delivery of IEEFA’s HR strategy and initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Fluency in English, written and oral.
- Solid proficiency in MS Office suite.

**Required qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible HR Generalist experience
- Detailed understanding of the end to end recruitment process
- Commitment to IEEFA’s mission to accelerate the transition to a diverse, sustainable, and profitable economy

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in training and development
- Experience in class and compensation
- Experience in leadership consultation regarding human resource matters
- Previous experience working for an NGO/non-profit organization

**Term and Schedule**: Full time 12-month fixed term employment contract with the option of extension by mutual agreement; Renumeration based on experience (base, plus super). **Reports to**: HR Manager, Global

**Travel**:Some travel is required. All global team members attend IEEFA’s annual conference and international team retreat.

**Physical Demands and Work Environment**: The HR Generalist will work remotely. Must be able to work for prolonged periods at a computer. Computer work can involve repetitive motion, eyestrain, back and neck strain.
