**Due to an increase in supply demands and internal promotions, we have an opportunity for an Electrical Team Supervisor to join our market leading company**

**About the role**:
We're searching for a Electrical Team Supervisor to join our Steelmaking Department.
This critical leadership role holds responsibilities for the overall shift operations, overseeing the safety, performance and planning of all shift personnel. This position will lead a team of electricians and apprentices, to coordinate their schedule of work with the achievement of meeting the electrical maintenance needs of our Steelmaking Department.

The expectations of this role are a wide range of electrical maintenance activities associated with the operations of a large industrial, manufacturing facility. The electrical team executes short and long-term electrical maintenance, improvement and repairs on the plant.

**The success of this role will see you**:

- Supervising a team of electrical technicians and provide guidance, training, and support
- Coordinating and overseeing installations, maintenance and repairs of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company standards.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify electrical faults, potential hazards and areas for improvement
- Developing and implement preventive maintenance for electrical equipment, while minimising downtime and maximising productivity
- Collaborating with departments to plan and execute electrical projects and upgrades
- Ensuring compliance within all relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and electrical inventory
- Promoting a culture of safety, including conducting safety meetings, providing safety training, and enforcing safety procedures

**Your skills and educucation demonstrates the following**:

- Certificate III or IV in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Practical experience within a leadership role
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple competing tasks to achieve required deadlines
- Expert fault-finding
- A background in all electrical maintenance and maintenance planning work
- Experience with PLC, instrumentation and power distribution work
- A high standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Safety and customer as core personal values
