The Opportunity:
The role of the Jewellery Category Manager is to strategically plan to maximise the product category / brands, programming, web & catalogue opportunities through sourcing a range and mix of product that is in line with company strategy, the category strategy and customer profile to maximise revenue and ensure budgets are met.The Category Manager works within the Merchandise Team and liaises with various internal partners as well as external partners to ensure the success of the category.

- Sales and Productivity
- Gross Profit
- Inventory
- GMROI
- Strategic Planning
- New Brand acquisition
- Customer Focus
- Maximising Marketing/Promotional opportunities
- Training of Merchandise Assistant for succession planning
- Be a strong ambassador for the business in all relationships in and out of the office.

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 5 years proven success in retail buying.
- Knowledge of the fashion accessories category.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Strong Communicator.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to supervise and manage staff.
- Can work within a team.
- Highly Flexible in approach.
- Intermediate Excel and Word literacy.

The position will be located at the brand's Sydney Northern Beaches HQ, with on-site parking.
