**About this opportunity**
Our client is a Government organisation and it is an exciting time to join their business as they are currently undergoing Large scale digital transformation.
They are needing a contract Iteration Manager on an initial 6-month engagement based in Brisbane CBD The purpose of the role will be to help the team plan, develop and adopt their Agile, Scrum and Lean principles and practices, working specifically across their Digital Identity project.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
The Iteration Manager is responsible for:
- Providing leadership on delivery practices to the delivery team to achieve continuous, quality delivery, with a focus on customer value and a maximised flow.
- Facilitating and championing the agile software development process by coaching and mentoring the delivery teams, identifying, and eliminating impediments and promoting the use of standards and best practices.
**Job Context**
- This role sits within the Digital and Technology Group. This role is responsible for the smooth operation of agile processes and activities.
- This role has no direct reports of HR accountabilities.
- The delivery team will be indirectly led by this role and will encompass team members from across the Digital and Technology Group including, but not limited to, Business Analysts, Test Analysts, Architects, Developers, and Engineers, operating in a matrix structure.
