**About the Project**:

- The Collection Enhancement Project (CEP) is the Australian Museum’s digitisation program, aiming to standardise and streamline digitisation activities across the Museum. The CEP is managed within two streams - Natural Science collections and Cultural collections - based on the specialised requirements and expertise needed to digitise such varied collection material. The focus within the Natural Science collections is to digitally register specimens to address the legacy data issues, and capture high resolution images, with the aim to improve collection management, audit capabilities, and accessibility of the collections.**About the Role**:

- We are looking for a Senior Natural Sciences Collection Enhancement Coordinator to join our AMRI team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Australian Museum and help make their collections accessible to the world.- You will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Natural Science Collection Enhancement Project (CEP). You will work closely with collection staff, barcoding staff and the EMu and DigiVol teams, under the direction of the Natural Sciences Digitisation Manager Collection Enhancement, to digitise the Australian Museum collections.- Employment Status:
- Clerk Grade 7/8
- Full time 35 hours per week

- You will be paid a competitive annual salary/hourly rate $106,025 - $117,363, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 11.5%) and annual leave loading.**About you**
- We are seeking a person who understands the technical implementation and requirements of large-scale digitisation projects in a museum collection setting.- You will have demonstrated:
- A knowledge in collection management and information systems.
- A knowledge of digitisation workflows and processes.
- A capacity to support the Natural Sciences Digitisation Manager to drive the development of clear and effective documentation of workflows, processes and standards in digitisation.
- A capacity to maintain accurate up to date records and deliver clear and timely reporting.
- A capacity to ensure effective working relationships are maintained with Collection staff, and the Barcoding, EMu, Conservation and DigiVol teams to drive digitising activities.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, in the digitisation of any physical, natural or cultural collection or relevant discipline.
