The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Administration Supervisor (Allied Health and Rehabilitation Services and Women, Newborn and Children's Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Lead and direct administrative staff to enable the achievement of best practice administrative services
- Contribute to the development of draft Ministerial responses and provide a complaints management service to ensure that time frames are met and the service excels in promoting a client focus culture
- Conduct analysis of existing and future business processes using approved methods and tools, specifications that most effectively and efficiently meet business requirements
- Work autonomously, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $94 759 - $103 102 per annum

Administrative Services provide a range of administrative support across all Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) facilities. Positions include ward clerk, medical typist, switchboard, reception, patient services, outpatient administrative services, front enquiry counter, emergency department administration, information resourcing and executive support services.
