**About the NICC**

The NICC is a statutory authority created under the _Casino Control Act 1992_. The NICC was set up to address the risks and harms arising from casino operations through increased regulatory oversight. The NICC will play a vital role in rebuilding public trust in the NSW casino industry through visible and robust supervision.

The NICC is an independent staff agency within the Enterprise Investment and Trade portfolio of agencies.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Manager Office of the NICC, we are looking for someone to provide administrative support to the NICC.

The Assistant Project Officer is responsible for performing project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects to meet business objectives.

**About You**
- You are a supportive and collaborative team member who is highly organised and experienced in providing project and administrative support. We are always multi-tasking, so you must have the ability to work on competing priorities within tight deadlines.
- Your previous experience in an executive assistant role, secretariat, or executive office environment, having demonstrated the ability to pick up new skills, will ensure your success in this role.
- You will have well developed communication skills, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, letters, briefing notes and other correspondence.
- Ideally you will have experience dealing with sensitive matters.
