A little bit about the role
This is a new opportunity for an experience and motivated person to assist in delivering Boroondara’s commitment to increasing canopy cover. It is a chance to join a great tree team to manage Boroondara’s tree planting and establishment program.
The role includes
Managing planting contractors
Assessing planting sites and species selection
Responding to residents and customers
Managing whole streetscape tree renewal projects
The role includes a mix of field and office-based work, with the flexibility to work from home for some duties if desired.

Position description
Transforming Boroondara
Employment requirements
Level 5 certificate in arboriculture
Sound understanding of tree planting and establishment principles, practices and challenges
Applicants must hold a current Victorian car licence
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia
Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check, satisfactory pre-employment medical check, and to support a child safe organisation a current Employee Working with Children Clearance
