On field, the AFL team has quickly grown into one of the competition’s most exciting teams with several players becoming household names across the country. Likewise, the on-field achievements of our AFL Women’s and GIANTS Netball teams are seeing the club connect with more fans and followers than ever before.
Off field, the club’s exciting, innovative, and fresh brand is growing as it engages with members, fans, the community and key stakeholders across Western Sydney, Canberra and Nationally.
The GIANTS’ AFL and AFL Women’s teams are based at the club’s elite training and administration facility in Sydney Olympic Park, with GIANTS Netball based adjacent at Netball Central.

**Description**:
The Sales & Ticketing Team Lead plays an imperative role within the Consumer team, it requires an individual who is motivated by sales This role is at the forefront of driving tickets and revenue through both traditional channels and via our Group Sales Program.
You will manage the end to end ticketing program, working with stakeholders at all levels and providing superior customer service. This role requires an individual to have a strong understanding of ticketing analysis, modelling, pricing, ticketing systems and event builds.
Resposibilities include;
Lead the GIANTS Groups Sales program - including leading a team of casual outbound staff.
Create unique experiences on game day to support the Group Sales program to engage new audiences.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to build crowds whilst driving attendance and revenue.
Managing the Ticketing Builds/Manifests for GIANTS Stadium and Manuka Oval.
Managing the allocations and holds for a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
Reporting on Daily Ticket Sales, Show rates and other valuable insights.
Produce regular statistical data on ticket sales, pre and post event.
Liaise with key stakeholders i.e. Ticketmaster, Ticketek, MSS, AFL Ticketing & other Clubs.
Work in conjunction with the marketing team to implement ticketing sales campaigns.
Create relevant event ticketing policies/request procedures
**Skills and Experiences**:
Previous experience within a major event or premium sporting organisation which offered a wide range of ticket and package options
Experience in preparing and building ticketing plans and associated ticketing reports
A demonstrated and strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment, with competing priorities, stakeholders and deadlines.
Demonstrated history in working in Membership and Ticketing systems. (Ticketmaster’s ARCHTICS and Ticketek’s ASPECT preferred)
Competent in Microsoft office suite, especially in excel for reporting and data analysis.
Previous experience in coordinating and executing Match Days/Events in the sports industry.
