Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.
Venues NSW takes an intergrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. Our network throughout NSW allows us to combine internal resources and harness a vast employee skillset all of which helps us deliver key projects and secure outstanding content.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Ticketing Manager will oversee the end-to-end ticketing process for events at Sydney venues, primarily focusing on Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium, including managing ticket builds, on-sale processes, and ensuring seamless event day entry for both members and patrons. This role aims to enhance the customer experience, maximize ticket sales, and collaborate with event managers, membership, and commercial teams to meet ticketing needs.
You will be responsible for managing ticketing budgets, settlements, and audits, working with marketing teams on promotional efforts, and analysing sales data for pricing and seating strategies. Additionally, you will oversee ticketing equipment, maintain service agreements, and ensure contractor performance standards are met.
ABOUT YOU
You will demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally. With a demonstrated ability to work in large scale sports and entertainment events, you will be influential and level-headed in nature.
- 5 years minimum in ticketing or venue management
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant area of profession
- Experience with event builds and ticketing systems such as Aspect, Insight, Gatelink
- Experience in the development and implementation of ticketing strategies beneficial
